Visit the Lérins Islands.
Opposite Cannes are the islands of Lérins, Sainte Marguerite and Saint Honorat. You can get there by boat in 15-20 minutes. The pier is at the end of the Quai Laubeuf. You will find calm, nature, breathtaking views, no cars. Walks in the forest and swimming in the coves. Not to be missed!
Gambetta Market
Enjoy the Gambetta market, the closest to the apartment (8 minutes walk): atmosphere and typical Provençal products.
Forville Market
The large emblematic market of Cannes. Don't miss it every morning, except Monday: atmosphere, products from Provence a must!
Boulevard de la Croisette
Don't miss the Cannes walk par excellence: the Croisette on foot, from the Pointe Croisette to the Palm Beach to the old port, at the foot of Le Suquet.
Le Suquet
Visit Le Suquet, the old town of Cannes, with its square and its Castre museum (climb to the top of the tower: superb view), its Notre Dame de l'Espérance church and its typical alleys.
California
Discover on foot La Californie, the wooded hill to the east of Cannes: magnificent views of the bay of Cannes, sumptuous villas, fragrant eucalyptus.
The rue d'Antibes
Enjoy the rue d'Antibes, the mythical artery of Cannes, very close to the apartment: luxury shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars.
The rue Meynadier
The charm of the rue Meynadier (the rue Grande for the old people of Cannes): pedestrian street, fifteen minutes from the apartment: typical shops, Provençal atmosphere.
The Rue Hoche
Stroll along Rue Hoche, Cannes' trendy pedestrian street: restaurants, cafes, shops.
The Cross of the Guards
Enjoy this beautiful hill to the west of Cannes: quiet walks in beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and beautiful views.
The Estérel
Don't miss a walk along the paths of the Esterel, for example starting from Théoule Miramar: Magnificent landscapes with sublime views of this ochre rock plunging into the blue of the sea. Tranquility guaranteed, even in summer. The coast is full of small and very pleasant coves.
The beaches
Cannes offers public, semi-public and private beaches. You are spoiled for choice. They are all made of sand and not pebbles. The longest are on Boulevard du Midi and extend to Mandelieu La Napoule. Quite on the other side, towards the Palm Beach, there is also a beautiful family beach with Bijou Plage. My favorite beach is the semi-public Zamenhof beach on the Croisette, close to the apartment on foot, for a very low price you have a deckchair, a parasol and a small table.
